I’m Back and Finished an App

Okay so I finished my first app!! It’s an app for people that want to learn Japanese. It’s called Kana Sounds and is now available in the App Store.
Check it out, I am stoked it got approved on the first submission, which is amazing considering I am a XCode Newb!
I will podcast about my trials and tribulations in the near future so stay tuned 
New MacBook Pro & Coding

Well I haven’t podcasted or blogged in a while so here is an update. Finally picked up a new 15″ MacBook Pro the other day. I went with the i5 due to financial reasons, but I am very happy with my purchase!! I have yet to try any real processor intensive tasks like video rendering, but everything seems faster. Of course I am switching from a 3 year old MacBook, so there better be a speed bump!
Also I have been learning to code for the iPhone and iPad and I am in the middle of developing an app. It’s my first app so it’s taking longer than I want, something about actually having to learn to code that is slowing me down
I anticipate a new podcast coming out in a week or so. Stay tuned!

Where do eMac’s go when they die?

Spotted this in the corner of the computer room at one of the schools I work for in Japan. It looks to be in good condition but probably hasn’t been turned on in a while. If i remember correctly eMac’s are either a Power PC G3 or G4. Since it’s a CRT monitor I really don’t want it but I think if I asked they would give it to me. Hmm…..
New MacBook Pro’s on Tuesay?

So there are a lot of rumors flying around the web that Apple will upgrade some of their computers on Tuesday. We all know the MacBook Pro line is getting really long in the legs and is in need of a performance boost!! i3, i5, and i7 CPU’s are the rumor and is most likely the case. If not than most of us are going to be really disappointed!
Are you going to buy the next rev of MacBook Pro’s? I know I am and the money is burning a whole in my pocket!!

How to Log Into #twitlive Using X-Chat Aqua
